Prayer of a Student Teacher
Lord, through your source of light and wisdom.
Give me the incense of understanding,
My attentive memory
And the capacity to grasp things correctly,
Grant me the grace
To be
accurate with my expositions
And the
skills to express myself
With thoroughness and clarity
Be with me always at my work,
Guide is progress and brings it to completion
Grant this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Personal Education Philosophy
“Everything you can imagine is real.” – Pablo
Picasso
Every person has a different perspective about the
word “Education” either opposing or
supporting one’s idea but folks for you, what is the importance of Education?
“The object education is to prepare the young minds
to educate themselves throughout their live.” – Robert Maynard Hutchins
In just a tick of a clock on the four edges of the
classroom that serves as the second home many experiences may happen teach you
how to move and learn how to react – this cycle is ideal for a society.
Therefore, this society is more efficient and productive. We must give
emphasize to the phase, “prepare young minds”. In the Philippines it is common
in there tradition that you must tell children to study hard. And this concept
was rooted from our proclaim national hero of the Philippines Dr. Jose P. Rizal,
urged, “Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan.” Nonetheless, the Holy Bible said,
“Train up a child in a way he should go and when he is old he will not depart
from it.” – Proverbs 22:6
Another
opinion, supporting that idea was given by A.E. Wiggan he said, “The chief aim
of education is not to fill people’s head with facts but to teach them how to
think and how to use facts.” Nowadays, competition is much common in school and
there is such thing bubbling in our minds, how we imply what we learn from
school?
Dream. Believe. Survive. This was it implies to
student. Not only giving much attention in their intellectual and cognitive
aspect we need to see attitude and persuasion or the eagerness to do what he
wanted to be. It’s now about your brain buddy but heart may matter be.
