               “A good plan implemented today is better than a perfect plan implemented tomorrow.”

            I found creating my lesson plans was pretty challenging but I made sure to find an activity that utilized my student’s 21^st century learner’s skills including the 4 C’s (creativity, collaborative, cognitive and communication skills) and the HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills). Hence, just about the every learning style is addressed and the lessons were challenging enough to keep the students attention. I found this method of planning to be helpful when it came to keeping the focus of the lesson in mind and then really thinking and gathering materials in advance to execute a lesson well.

Self-evaluation is a powerful tool that will help you become a better teacher. Reflecting on and evaluating your teaching after a lesson is over will give you insights that may save you lots of trouble later. Even a few brief evaluate notes on a lesson plan will help you immensely the next time you teach that lesson.

            Overall, though a challenge, planning those lesson plans was a good experience and got me thinking in advance of great activities that I really want my students to experience.

Community Service Completion Report on

Clean and Green Program

        Forty-five students of Grade 10 Lapu-Lapu joined the “Clean and Green” program on December 8, 2017 in Mariano Ponce National High School headed by Mrs. Alicia Vargas, Aralin Panlipunan teacher.

Environment is a place where humans as well as plants and animals live. Keeping it clean and neat is our responsibility. It is necessary to keep our environment clean because we get fresh air, reduce pollution and etc. An unclean environment leads to a bad condition of society, arrival of diseased and many more. We should plant trees in our society or we can also adapt any tree and take care of that. Trees will help in controlling the pollution at least a little bit. By implementing on it we can reduce pollution, get fresh air and live peaceful life without any problems.

The activity left a great impact to the students since they are already aware of the cleaning their surroundings, segregating their garbage and throwing their trash at the designated area. According to the students, the said activity was success since all were actively enjoyed and made some fun together with their classmates.
